Three Restaurants That Serve Tasty Desserts In São Paulo

Girarrosto
It is all about chocolat in this candy: cookie (dark), mousse, crisp and ice cream. This sophisticated restaurant is part of the Egeu Group, which also owns the Kaá and the Italy, and occupies a large property with an impersonal feel. Minus chef Salvatore Loi since the beginning of the year, the menu features meats cooked in the rotating oven (hence the restaurant's name), such as the veal stinco.

Clos
One of the options has alfajor (Latin American cookie sandwich) with dulce de leche, bolinhos de chuva (a dumpling with cinnamon and sugar) and toasted coconut ice cream. The chef Ligia Karazawa relinquished command in December. Taking over the pots and pans were Wilson Duarte, previous sous-chef, and the Argentinea, Julian Rigo. Recipes well-loved by the diners are still on the menu, such as tartare de pato (duck tartar) with pineapple and mustard seed.

Kaá
The chocolat fondant comes with caramelized banana and flakes of fresh coconut. The lush vertical garden of Atlantic rainforest plants has won the restaurant several architectural awards. The kitchen serves dishes inspired by Franco-Italian cuisine, such as the milled maize polenta and tomato sauce, with thyme and creamed salami, and the smoked pork with Sicilian lemon risotto.
